Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Global Trade Hub platform ("Platform"), operated by Global Trade Hub (Pty) Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including importers, exporters, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and any other individuals or entities accessing the Platform.

2. Description of Services

Global Trade Hub provides a comprehensive international trade management platform that includes, but is not limited to, the following services:

• Shipment tracking and management tools
• Customs duty and HS code calculation
• Cargo booking and freight management
• Flight booking and travel management for trade professionals
• Document management and customs clearance support
• Corporate account management and team travel tools
• Trade analytics and reporting dashboards
• Lead management and customer relationship tools

The Platform is intended for business use by trade professionals. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To access the Platform, you must create an account using a valid email address or through supported OAuth providers (such as Google). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with third parties
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Global Trade Hub offers subscription-based access to the Platform. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen plan.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes (including VAT) depending on your jurisdiction.

5. Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial for new users. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Platform. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time without notice.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Engage in any form of trade fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content without written permission
• Use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, icons, and data — are the exclusive property of Global Trade Hub (Pty) Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date trade data, including HS codes, duty rates, and customs regulations, this information is provided for guidance purposes only. Trade regulations change frequently and vary by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any trade data before making business decisions. Global Trade Hub accepts no liability for errors, omissions, or outdated information in trade data provided through the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Global Trade Hub (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa. For international users, we comply with applicable local laws and regulations to the extent required.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
